Our team
The group is composed of researchers from the Department of Economics and International Relations at UFSC.
- Fábio Pádua dos Santos (Coordinator): PhD in Economic Development (UNICAMP), with research focused on the formation of contemporary Brazil from the perspective of the modern world-system. He has experience as a visiting professor and researcher at institutions in Brazil, Colombia, and the United States.
- Beatriz Turato (Researcher): Undergraduate student in Economics (UFSC) with experience in strategic planning and data analysis. She is dedicated to studies in sustainability and finance, holding several certifications in ESG and the financial market.
- Otávio Kich Mata (Researcher): Undergraduate student in International Relations (UFSC) with experience at the Federal Public Defender’s Office and in the UN Volunteers program. He is a co-author of academic publications and actively participates in multiple research projects on Latin America, finance, and international law.
